EA FC 24 Closed Beta: How to sign-up and get a code
With EA FC 24 releasing next month, a Closed Beta for the game has kicked off. The beta is designed to give players limited early access to the upcoming game, while providing developers with important information regarding gameplay feedback, bugs and connectivity issues.
The Closed Beta for EA FC 24 started on August 10 and runs through the entirety of the month, ending on August 31. It’s available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC; however, in order to play, you’ll need an invite.
How to get a EA FC 24 Closed Beta code
One way to get a code to the EA FC 24 Closed Beta is through the EA playtesting program. To do so, you must sign up for EA Playtesting and op-in for email communication from EA. This involves signing into your EA Account and accessing your Email Preferences. From there, you’ve got to be lucky enough to be selected, although there are some requirements that may make you more likely to get selected, including playing FIFA 23 regularly. You must also have an active internet connection, must be 18 years old or older and have a live subscription to Xbox Live Gold, PS Plus or Nintendo Switch Online. Also, the Closed Beta is only available in the United States and United Kingdom.
It seems the first wave of invites to the EA FC 24 Closed Beta have already gone out, but it’s possible EA will continue to send out codes over the next couple of days in order to get a wide range of people into the beta.
Another possible way to get a Closed Beta code is through social media. Oftentimes, EA or prominent FIFA gaming community members will send codes to individuals through social media, so you’ll want to follow anyone involved with the game.
What’s included in the EA FC 24 Closed Beta?
If you do get invited into the Closed Beta, you can expect to play limited experiences of Career Mode, Ultimate Team, Clubs and VOLTA FOOTBALL. Progress you make in the beta will not carry over into the full game when it launches next month. Additionally, EA is forbidding anyone from streaming or capturing footage of Closed Beta gameplay.
EA FC 24 is set to launch on September 29, 2023.
