NHL 24: Three Hockey Ultimate Team changes we would like to see
2. Mini Tournaments/Better Events
Lots of gamers in the NHL community are getting tired of the same Events over and over each week. In order to keep the Events fresh, there needs to be changes. Maybe more themed Events each week with better rewards or even the addition of HUT Tournaments.
The vision I have with HUT Tournaments would be those similar to Rocket League Tournaments. Once a week EA Sports can hold a tournament where you can earn Tournament Rewards, Packs, and other goodies. Maybe then at the end of the month, there can be a bigger tournament with greater rewards. These tournaments can vary for different divisions that you are in. If you are in division 5, then you will only be matched up with players in your division for these tournaments.
The EA Sports NHL Gaming World Championship uses Hockey Ultimate Teams for their big tournament, so integrating smaller tournaments throughout the year can get all sorts of players ready for something like this. After a while, the same NHL Events can get tiresome. There are a ton of different routes EA Sports can take, so it will be interesting to see if something like this is added or changed. Something has to give in NHL 24 HUT.
