Nintendo Switch Online gets classic Fire Emblem Game Boy Advance game next week

Nintendo Switch Online recently added three Super Mario games to the Game Boy Advance library. And next week, the online service will be adding yet another classic Game Boy Advance game. Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch Online library on June 23.

Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade was originally released on the Game Boy Advance in 2003. 20 years later, you will be able to play the game on Nintendo’s newest console.

Fire Emblem has always been a very popular franchise for Nintendo and it is great that one of the original Fire Emblem games will now be playable on Switch.

If you are looking to get your hands on Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, you need to make sure that you have a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription and Expansion Pack. The Nintendo Switch Online Subscription and Expansion Pack combo costs $49.99 per year. Not only will this give you access to Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, but it will also give you access to tons of other old school games from consoles such as the Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, NES, SNES, and so much more.

Even though the Xbox Game Pass is widely referred to as the best deals in gaming, Nintendo Switch Online and the Expansion Pack is well worth the price. You are getting the addition of a ton of old school games, Nintendo Switch Online for an entire year, and tons of other perks that come with the service. Nintendo is going to continue to add old school games to their service and I am sure that there will be tons more added by the end of the year.

You can download Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade through Nintendo Switch Online starting June 23.
