Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Possible immersion and quality of life improvements

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been out for a few months now, and they have been by far the most ambitious games that Game Freak has released to date. With that has come some struggle, as the game has not run as smoothly as players might have initially hoped. Be it falling through the over-world into the underbelly of the Paldea Region, or watching frame rates drop as one enters a certain, now infamous body of water (looking at you Casserole Lake), the game has its fair share of issues that still need addressing.

Despite all its obvious glitches and general gameplay issues, however,  the newest additions to the Pokémon universe have been entertaining, to say the least. Both games, set in the Paldea region, allow players to make their own way through the world. They have very much nailed the concept of open-world exploration by taking a laissez-faire approach to where the player goes and how the player completes the story, barring a few exceptions.

Despite all the innovation and creativity, the game still lacks a few features that I personally feel would make for interesting additions to give the game either a better sense of immersion or perhaps just add a few quality-of-life features that would make the game a bit more versatile for players of all demographics. With DLC content on the way, here are some of the changes I hope that Game Freak are considering as possible concepts to explore:
