Final Fantasy XVI is already much like a movie. With a grand, sweeping plot and hours upon hours of cutscenes, the newest Final Fantasy game is about as cinematic as video games come. The game’s voice and motion capture cast do a fantastic job bringing the game’s characters to life, but fan-casting for live-action adaptations of games is almost as big of a pastime as gaming itself.
Benedikta Harman is a central villain of Final Fantasy XVI, with a vicious attitude and sense of style. The Dominant of Air is just as sharp as her Eikon Garuda’s talons — here are a few actors who might be able to capture her character in a Final Fantasy XVI movie.

Alicia Vikander is best known for playing android Ava in 2014’s Ex Machina and Lara Croft in 2018’s Tomb Raider, making her no stranger to video game adaptations. This Swedish actress can pull off graceful elegance and intensity, with her role in Ex Machina blurring the line between protagonist and antagonist. Vikander could bring the sophistication of Benedikta’s public demeanor and the hidden vulnerability and anger that bubbles beneath her surface.
