Diablo 4 Season of Blood Release Date Announced
Diablo 4’s second season, Season of Blood, was surprisingly revealed during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley.
Diablo 4’s Season of the Malignant is still ongoing, but Blizzard announced the game’s second free seasonal update early. Season of Blood will arrive on Oct. 17 including new vampiric powers, a new questline, five new endgame bosses and more.
Diablo 4 Season of Blood Release Date Announced
Season of Blood will have a vampiric theme as apparent by the characters, imagery and implementation of vampiric powers. How those powers will interact with characters moving forward remains to be seen, but perhaps it’ll be similar to the Malignant Hearts players are currently collecting in Season of the Malignant.
Some fans were a bit surprised that Season of Blood was announced considering how early it is still into Season of the Malignant. Fans still want to know about quality of life updates including Renown carrying over and more.
Hopefully Blizzard continues to improve on Diablo 4 and the game’s overall evolution.
